02 · Data processed
- Enquiry data: name, email, dates, number of guests, room, cot request and message.
- Subsequent correspondence with the property.
- Technical data and logs, such as IP address, date, time and requested resource, which the hosting provider may process to deliver and protect the website. To limit automated submissions, the form temporarily retains a non-reversible hash of the IP address and submission times for no longer than one hour, without the enquiry contents.
03 · Purposes and legal bases
- Answering availability enquiries and preparing a stay: steps requested before entering into a contract.
- Managing communications and obligations related to confirmed bookings: contract performance and legal obligations.
- Maintaining website operation, integrity and security: legitimate interests of the controller and hosting provider.
04 · Providers and recipients
The form sends the enquiry to the SiteGround server, which forwards it by email to the property’s Gmail mailbox. The website does not save form contents in a database and uses no analytics or advertising pixels. SiteGround processes the data needed for delivery and technical logs as hosting provider; Google manages the receiving mailbox. Data is not sold or used for newsletters or marketing.
Some providers, including Google, may process data outside the European Economic Area using the transfer safeguards provided by the GDPR. Details are available in each provider’s privacy information and published safeguards.
05 · Retention
Enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted within 90 days after the enquiry is closed. Where a booking is made, necessary data is retained for contractual, administrative, tax and legal periods. Technical logs follow the hosting provider’s configured retention periods.
06 · Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability where applicable, and object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority. Contact the privacy address above.
